Italian Vegetable Soup with Ditali Pasta

Bella Terra Tomato Ditali Soup creates a scrumptiously good earth indeed. Just add water & olive oil to magically prepare our Hearty Minestrone Soup. Rich spicy tomato broth with veggies & durum semolina pasta.

INGREDIENTS: Dried tomatoes, peppers, onions, carrots, leeks, potatoes, cabbage, Ditali (durum wheat semolina) herbs & spices, garlic, raw unbleached turbinado sugar, natural sea salt.


  • First, brown some organic ground beef / bison or veggie ground round with a little oil in your soup pot.
  • Add one sliced zuchini.
  • Add water, oil, and soup mix and cook together as per directions on package.
  • Add 1 can of your favorite Italian beans, drained and rinsed (optional)
  • Top with freshly grated parmesan cheese, and serve with fresh artisanal bread from a hot oven with rich creamy unsalted butter and a wedge of asiago cheese.

Rosemary Foccacia Quick Bread with Sweet Peppers and Garlic
Just add water & olive oil, stir and spread to make the easiest loaf you have ever baked. This recipe uses local BC, small farm, organic, stone ground wheat and spelt flours and aluminum free baking powder to make a delectable yeast-free quickbread. Top with squash or sweet pepper slivers in a flower before baking for a gorgeous eco artisan finish!


Try a Thin Crust Yeast-Free Pizza!!!

Sprinkle cornmeal or sesame seeds on a greased pan. Press dough into a thin circle. Top with pesto sauce, salami, chicken & eggplant OR tomato sauce, artichoke, sundried tomato, fresh basil & cheese before baking for an easy meal.

Balsamic & Olive Oil Bread Dip.

Cashew Curry Dinner

Our long-time favorite oven dinner can be baked in a casserole dish or all day in a slow cooker. So simple and absolutely fabulous, a mild nutty curry flavour that appeals to all.

INGREDIENTS: Organic brown rice, Organic red & green lentils, whole cashews, dried leeks, onions, carrots, potato, sweet pepper, cabbage, celery, Organic unhulled sesame seeds, herbs & spices, unbleached raw turbinado sugar, sea salt.


  • Combine mix with water and butter or coconut oil as per recipe.
  • VEGAN option:  add chunks or baby veggies: carrots, onions, peppers, squash, mushrooms, yam or cauliflower. Bake as directed - complete  vegan protein.
  • OMNIVOROUS option: Add raw chicken breast, leg or thighs, lamb or pork chops and veggies as above. Bake as directed.
  • Serve with naan or chapatti flatbread, lime pickle, yogurt and chutney for a more authentic eastern feast
  • OR
  • Fresh bread, baby greens mix salad and our Garden Curry yogurt dip for a more western casserole dinner.

Earthen Fire Shitake Mushroom Soup

NOW GLUTEN-FREE with Tapioca!

A rich and creamy mushroom soup with whole red szechwan, white & green peppercorns. Think peppercorn steak or peppercorn ranch, this soup is deep and sultry with a little bite. Shitake & button mushrooms concentrate the earthy tones of fresh forest mushrooms in this deep rich creamy soup

INGREDIENTS: Dried shitake & button mushrooms, green & white onions, Parmesan cheese, (Milk, salt, bacterial culture, rennet, calcium chloride) herbs & spices, whole white, red and green peppercorns, tapioca, unbleached raw turbinado sugar, dry mustard, natural sea salt.


For an even heartier feast, saute fresh chicken and/or fresh exotic mushrooms in a little olive oil before adding water, cream and soup mix as directed. Top with fresh chopped herbs and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar reduction if desired.

OR For a Shitake Mushroom Risotto as pictured

Mix 1 package Earthen Fire Shitake Mushroom Soup Mix with 1/2 cup wild rice, 1 teaspoon sea salt, 2 Tbsp butter, 4 cups water. Cover with lid. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce to low heat and cook 25 mins. Stir in 1 cup white basmati rice, cover again. Let cook over low heat 30 mins or until all water is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in 1 cup heavy cream if desired. Let stand five mins. Top with parmesan cheese. Serves 4-6

Serve with hot crusty multigrain rolls, sweet creamery butter and wedges of whole butter lettuce salad with toasted walnuts, Cambonzola blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette dressing.

Creamy Mushroom Leek Soup

Our original Creamy Mushroom Soup with leeks, caramelized onions, button mushrooms and parmesan cheese. Rich and luscious dinner soup, lovely as is or great for use in everyday recipes. We love it as the seasoning mix for a chicken and veggies crock pot dinner.

INGREDIENTS: Dried mushrooms, leeks, onions, Parmesan cheese, (Milk, salt, bacterial culture, rennet, calcium chloride), herbs & spices, tapioca, unbleached raw turbinado sugar, natural sea salt.

OR ... Try adding fresh asparagus & scallops or a can of clams... OR

Start with sautéed chicken and/or assorted fresh mushroom pieces and sizzle in ½ cup white wine for extra zing before adding soup mix, water and cream as per label recipe. Garnish with fresh chopped dill, parsley or tarragon. Serve with hot crusty french baguette, brie & Crunchy Iceberg and tomato salad with Daring Dill dressing.

Try our Delectable Creamy Mushroom Noodles with Beef and Broccoli

Seriously yummy comfort food - use veggie ground round if desired.

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil, 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1.5 lbs ground beef
  • 10-15 mushrooms OR 3 big handfuls sliced
  • 1 cup Made with Love Creamy Mushroom Leek Soup Mix
  • 2 Tbsp Spice Blends - Pick one or two - any of our nine flavours works great for this recipe!
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sour cream or La Liberte Mediterranean Plain Yogurt
  • 2 cups milk or cream
  • 1 - 454g. package broad egg noodles
  • 1 bunch broccoli OR about 5 big handfuls florets
  • a couple big pinches sea salt, optional.
  1. Melt butter and oil together in a frying pan. Fry beef, and mushrooms together until lightly browned.
  2. Add Soup Mix and Spice Blend and sauté a few min more.
  3. Add one cup of water stirring well until combined.
  4. Add sour cream and milk and stir well. Reduce heat to low.
  5. Boil large pot of water and cook noodles and broccoli together about 5 min or until noodles are al dente.
  6. Drain and shake dry in colander.
  7. Combine noodles and broccoli with sauce and salt if desired. Toss well and serve.
